Baranovskaya, with tears in her eyes, spoke about meeting her son in intensive care.
TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya told a NEWS.ru correspondent that the first person she saw in the Salekhard hospital’s intensive care unit was her eldest son, Artem. At the Golden Gramophone awards ceremony for Russian Radio, which celebrated its 30th anniversary, the TV star said she couldn’t believe her eyes at first. Baranovskaya admitted that her son’s visit gave her strength.
“You know, when you open your eyes in intensive care and can’t quite figure out where you are, and the first thing you see is your eldest son in a mask, that means a lot. It was completely unexpected for me. At first, I thought I was delirious. He had a mask, those big eyes. It immediately gave me strength. He didn’t leave my side for a second ,” the celebrity said.
Earlier, Director Petro Sheksheev reported that Baranovskaya was hospitalized in Salekhard due to an exacerbation of a chronic illness . He stated that the TV presenter’s condition later stabilized and she was recovering. Sheksheev added that her family and colleagues were with her, and that the reason for the hospitalization was related to a chronic illness related to the aftereffects of childbirth.
